We would like to inform you about the technical details of the presentations. Each conference room is equipped with a desktop computer, projector, screens, loudspeakers and an internet connection. For technical reasons, it will not be possible to connect your own laptops so kindly please bring USB flash drives with a copy of your presentation with you to connect to our equipment. We also recommend emailing the presentation to yourself as a backup. The desktop computers run Windows. If you want to show video files, please save them in the following formats:
MP4, MP4 (MPEG-4 Part 14), MOV, WMV, AVI.
For presentations, the supported forms are .pptx and .ppt for Powerpoint. It is also possible to play odp, odt, ods – (openoffice formats) and pdf (adobe reader). All other formats from macOS/iOS systems should be converted and saved in the previously mentioned formats, in order to avoid compatibility problems.
The conference will also have a Vimeo channel. All conference participants who want to upload their films to this channel and make them accessible to other attendees are kindly requested to let us know and send links to their films. Links which have been sent with submissions don’t have to be resent, but a request/consent for a given film to be put on the conference Vimeo channel is necessary.
